PUBLIC OUTREACH:

Observing with the public
I have always been interested in presenting the night sky to the public, dating back to the visit of Halley's Comet. More recently, for example, I coordinated and carried out public observing events for the transits of Mercury and Venus (from Lund, Sweden), and participated in Lund Observatory open-house nights. For IYA2009 I expect to be showing the night sky to the public at different venues.

Presentations and teaching
To astro clubs, teacher workshops and high school science classes
